Milad started studying at the University of Tehran for a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. After that, he received his master’s degree in chemical engineering—separation processes at the Iran University of Science and Technology. He worked on the numerical modelling of the dynamic behaviour of membrane electrode assemblies in fuel cells and optimizing their operating parameters. Now he is currently enrolled in the mechanical engineering Ph.D. program at Carleton University, and he is also a research assistant at the APEX group there. Currently, his research focuses on the modelling of the behaviour of adsorption columns in the direct air carbon capture system.
